Welcome to the fourth edition of Airhorn Army News! 📰 This edition is focused around our most recent event: Questje’s ReQuestje’s 13! But you can also read about a new Community Member of the week, Darts and my Upcoming End-of-Year Streams. No ‘Personal Life’ section as not much has changed, but I’m doing okay! 😃 I’m still trying to improve this newsletter week by week. More poker related stuff will come in 2024, as well as other segments!

🎵 Questje’s ReQuestje’s #13

Last Friday, December 8th, I hosted QR #13! Can’t believe I’ve been doing this Event for 3 years now, but I don’t see a reason to stop :-) I love making and preparing the chart and hosting all the great music during the stream. The new #1 of this edition was quite a fun surprise for the top requester TheMortyNL but with a bit of help of LarsK and myself it just beat Emma Kok. But still a great new entry for that beautiful cover of Voilá at #2. See the top 25 below! All current Song Requests count for the next edition that will be hosted in March 2024.

This year, there will also be a QR 2023-Year Chart, which will be streamed Friday Dec 29th! 😉 The bottom part of that chart will already start with great tunes with 20+ requests over the year. So, be there! 🎷

🎯 Fantasy Darts: Scorito League

This Friday, December 15th, the World Darts Championship 2024 will be starting. As a big Darts lover I look forward to this event. My personal favourites are Gary Anderson, Barney, Dirk van Duyvenbode🍆 (sadly injured) and a couple others. The Quarter with Gary, Barney & Dirk also contains Wright, Wade & Price. Super tough! Overall MvG and Humpries might be the favourites, but the winner of that Quarter will have to be in great form and will have a shot for sure! 🎯

🍺 New Years Eve Stream!

It’s going to happen again: A wild New Years Eve Stream! Lots of Variety, Games, Music, Drinks, a bit of Poker, probably some Discord chats with people and just a great way to start 2024! Last year we managed to stream until it was 2024 everywhere on Earth, let’s see if we can do this again. Live ~19:00 CET!

🙋 Community Member of the Week!

In every newsletter I’ll highlight an Airhorn Army Member of the week! The Community Member of this Week is: 🙋 Ktulu0203 😍 \m/

Previously known as mro203, Ktulu is and has been a great part of our community. He might not always be super active in chat, but he’s almost always around and doing lots for me behind the scenes as well, in terms of moral support, giving feedback and being a listening ear. He’s a big fan of metal music as you can see in his Song Requests (with even getting Guns N’ Roses - Get In The Ring at #1 in QR #10 in March 2023). He takes care of his family in the UK and I hope he’ll stay a part of our lively community for many years to come. He also does a bit of streaming himself so be sure to give him a follow at his Twitch!

📅 Upcoming Streams

  • Christmas: I will likely stream either 25th or 26th. Stay tuned on Discord and my Socials to see my final decision!

  • Friday, Dec 29th I’ll stream the Top 100 Songs of the Year 2023!

  • Sunday, Dec 31st I’ll stream another edition of my New Years Eve party! No Delay, Drinks, Games, Music and probably some micro stakes Poker as well. Let’s start 2024 with a blast! 🙂 

  • Furthermore, my plan is to go stream on YouTube for a bit, with as the most important goal getting my channel monetized (YPP). Multi-streaming to Kick hasn’t done much so I think this will be a good new experiment. I’ve not fully decided what to do with music as this won’t be allowed on YouTube. My current plan is to do a weekly GTO Wizard Study stream there and keep my Variety/Friday streams as they are, fully on Twitch and with !SRs 😀

In the coming weeks I’ll share more fun statistics about my streaming year, both on my Discord and in upcoming editions of this newsletter.
