Welcome to the third edition of Airhorn Army News! 📰 This edition is focused around an awesome upcoming event: Questje’s ReQuestje’s! But you can also read about a new Community Member of the week and other cool stuff!

💟 Personal Life Update

I’m still doing decent! My sleep has improved, I’m getting outside way more (even though sometimes for an annoying appointment, haha) and I’ve got a very good outlook on a new job! Let’s keep going like this, shall we? And whatever happens, Streaming and Poker will stay a part of my life 100%. Even if it’s just Friday’s and some random other nights. It’s too much fun! 😍

🎵 Questje’s ReQuestje’s #13

Coming Friday, December 8th, it’s time for QR #13! We’ll play the Top 100 Most Requested Songs of my channel since September 2023. There’s always some fun surprises and this edition is certainly no exception! It will be a different QR anyway, since we won’t host Rush & Cash Friday but will mostly play Community Games like Tetris, GeoGuessr, Words on Stream and Skribbl. Maybe I’ll add a bit of Poker into the mix, we’ll see Friday! Fun, Games, Party Vibes & Great Music guaranteed 🎵 We’ll also start an hour earlier than we did in the past (18), so that more people can stay around for the top 10, between 1 and 2 AM CET!

📢 Throwback to the first Edition!

The first edition of Questje’s ReQuestje’s was presented in December 2020, exactly 3 years ago. Time flies and the community has certainly changed a lot since then! The Top 10 of the very first QR looked like this:

Of these songs 5 have made it into QR #13 as well 🙂 Right now, I’ve got an Excel sheet with all the songs that made it into QR and it contains almost 600 unique songs. I could also make a chart with ALL requested songs EVER, and that number would be around 12.000 Unique Songs! Amazing. If we count unique requests we even get this number up to 60.000! That means on average the same song has been requested around 5 times :)

🙋 Community Member of the Week!

In every newsletter I’ll highlight an Airhorn Army Member of the week! The Community Member of this Week is: 🙋 Mr_Carps! 😍

Mr_Carps is a real OG and Power-mod of my channel. He’s been around since May 2020 (yes, before the first QR) and very rarely misses a stream. He’s always in for a game of GeoGuessr or 2NL Cash and loves to beat me at Skribbl, even though we both suck! 😂 He’ll often share his love for Little Mix, Newcastle, a cold beer or a tasty kebab and we love him around in our chat. Carps is also leading in All-Time Chat Messages (excluding myself and some bots) and he’s second in All-Time Watch Hours, just behind other legend Alext0r (the difference is 16 days haha). Type !watchtime in my chat to check yours! Mr_Carps, thanks for your long-time support as a Mod and I hope you stay a part of our community for many years to come! 💪 😍

📅 Upcoming Streams

  • Friday, Dec 8th it’s time for QR #13!

  • Sunday, Dec 31th I’ll stream another edition of my New Years Eve party! No Delay, Drinks, Games, Music and possibly some micro stakes Poker as well. Let’s start 2024 with a blast! 🙂 

  • Furthermore, my plan is to stream at least every Friday for the rest of 2023, so be sure to tune in Friday for GTOWizard Studying followed by Games. When I feel good and have the time/energy I’ll stream some other nights as well. I also streamed last Sunday!

🎓 GTO Wizard Study: SB & ICM Play!

Last Friday I hosted another GTO Wizard Study Session, this time almost two hours! We went over some basic AI/Nodelocking (part of the new Elite Plan) and after that we did some Training of SB and ICM (Final Table) Spots. I certainly feel I learned something!
