It finally happened, my first Community Meet-Up!

Questje Live 1.0 🍺

It finally happened after five years of anxiety, postponing, and random laziness, but last Saturday I hosted my first-ever Community Meet-Up, Questje Live 1.0! I was very happy to meet powermod Anaconda for the first time and catch up with Pieter69, Giorgio, and Kiribasss! We made the city of Enschede a bit (un)safer while enjoying nice beers and food in several bars. Pieter played host for a bit, as he knows all the places and everybody working there, too, haha. It was appreciated! 😉 We never made it to my old student bar, De Vestingbar, but maybe next time we’ll squeeze it in. We did visit De Beiaard, Molly Mallone, Novi, De Rocks, Proeflokaal Belgie Enschede & De Minibar (well, 2 of us!) 🤤 Up until COVID hit the world, I was also part-time working as a bartender at De Minibar, and my former boss was working and happy to see me haha. Then, when COVID hit, I decided to start streaming and I’ve hardly sold a beer since 😉 Here are some pictures of the meet-up:

My Friday streams are still going strong, which I’m very happy with! We even set a new record of players in the weekly !Darts game last week with a whopping 48 players. The Giveaways are fun, the chat is often hyped and the viewer count is also slightly going up, and that’s amazing considering all the apparent issues lately with Twitch not counting (all) lurkers.

New this year is that we keep track of a Last Longer Leaderboard. You can check the full stats on Discord in #stream-giveaways every week, but here’s the current Top 10 after hosting 124 Last Longers in 2025!

Pretty recently, I’ve hosted the 19th (!) edition of my own Music Chart, based on the Song Requests in my channel 🙂 The winning song was a special one, as it was made by a VIP this time, Vjekojack! 💕 💕

Questje on Twitch - What’s Next?

5000 Hours Streamed!

I’ve recently reached 5000 hours total streamed on Twitch, since I started in 2018. Insane! ;-)

What’s Next? Not completely sure, but I do know I enjoy creating digital content/stuff, and I can see it happen I go for another 5000 hours! I also know I have more “to offer” than just being that weird guy on Friday playing poker and drinking beer. While I like that part of me/Questje for sure, I want to try to diversify more. You can’t grow if you’re not uncomfortable once in a while ;)

This could be with more “serious” poker streams (studying GTO, reviewing hands together, playing solid MTT sessions, etc.), or more variety gaming streams (my Birthday community night was amazing), Just Chatting aka “Coffee with Questje”, coding streams, stream tech/help streams, retro gaming, DJ streams, multi-streaming to YouTube/TikTok, etc. Lots of ideas!

Besides what you already know of my content, what would YOU love to see? I’d love to hear it, as it wouldn’t be the first time a community idea (like this newsletter) becomes reality! You can reply to this e-mail, DM me on Discord, or just let me know during my streams 🙂
