Good Vibes & News about Poker, Streaming & Games!

This is the very first edition of Airhorn Army News! In this first Beta edition you can read a bit about my personal life, the fun games we played on Friday, we celebrate a community member of the week and I announce my streaming plans. 💚

📢 Personal Life Update

I hoped I could start with some awesome news about a big poker score or a huge stream we had. Sadly, due to some financial/debt troubles I’m forced to take it easy poker wise for the moment. Firstly because I needed to cash out my bankroll to pay rent, secondly because GGPoker blocked me for 3 months because they saw my tweet with the GoFundMe and their Reponsible Gaming Team got triggered. It’s annoying but I understand it. I can re-apply to get unblocked early February 2024. So for the time being I sadly won’t be able to stream Rush & Cash Friday.

I’d like to point out I’m up on poker in 2023 so I still firmly believe in a comeback at some point, but I need to face the fact streaming and playing poker has to be a part-time gig for me. Nothing wrong with that, and you never know what the future brings. Maybe we can go full-time for real at some point. I still love the game.

That being said, this won’t stop me in maintaining and entertaining our awesome community. I will still stream most Friday Nights for a fun evening with beers and games and I’m going to continue to stream GTOWizard study sessions as well.

The good news is that for now the eviction has been postponed and I gained some time to get my life back on track. I’ve gotten some awesome support (both mentally and financially) from real life friends and people from the online Airhorn Army community. This means a lot to me and I will try to give back this love in my usually very enthusiastic and fun streams! 😍 Thanks! :)

📢 Variety Gaming is Fun!

Forced or not, I’ve always enjoyed a bit of variety and I have to admit the last couple of Friday nights were more fun than I expected! 🍺 We’ve played some Tetris, GeoGuessr, Skribbl and I’ve even hosted some Chess tournaments. Maybe in future editions of this newsletter I’ll feature the winners of these games and I also plan to keep score during the nights with an update in DonkbetBot.

These were the winners of one of the Lichess tournaments we played last Friday. Congrats, Shas! 💪

📢 Community Member of the Week!

In every newsletter I’ll highlight an Airhorn Army Member of the week! Maybe they did great in some of the games, maybe they did some awesome mod work or were sick with sub gifts or promoting my stream. It can be any reason!

Oliver, aka m00se, from the Northern part of England, has been a great Moderator of my channel for quite a while and he’s always available for a chat if I need to vent some life or streaming issues. I appreciate this a lot and I’m happy to call him a friend. Added to that, he went out of his way to create a GoFundMe to try to help me with my financial issues. Thanks m8!

Not playing as much poker? Taking a break? Detox period? A great moment to study a bit more to make sure you come back as strong as possible. Join me most Friday’s for some GTOWizard studying, but if you miss them live you can also watch them back on my YouTube channel for FREE!

📢 Upcoming Streams

  • My plan is to stream at least most Friday’s for the rest of 2023, so be sure to tune in Friday from ~20:00 CET for some GTOWizard Studying followed by Games. When I feel good and have the time/energy I’ll stream some other nights as well.

  • Friday, December 8th it’s time for the 13th (!) edition of Questje’s ReQuestje’s. Starting at 18:00 CET with the #100 we’ll play the most popular songs of the community all night long. The #1 will play a bit earlier than in the past, around 1:30/1:45 CET. 🎵

  • And I’ve got some good news for my New Years Eve fans: There’s a decent chance I’ll be able to stream a crazy NYE Stream as well, Sunday Dec 31st, possibly even until it’s 2024 in all time zones, just like last year ;)
